“Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you.”~Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”~Dr. Seuss
(From Fran’s quotes of the day)
Not much to add to these gems. Who can argue the validity? You cannot change anyone else, you can only change yourself. You are not responsible for anyone else (adults that is) only you. So given YOU are all you have, why not be the best you can possibly be. Of course, Dr. Seuss spoke so many truisms, his books are the absolute BESTEST!
This has nothing to do with financial gain or material success. Both are outer versions of what now should be an inner journey. How much do you need to have to live comfortably and joyously. Can you see, walk, talk and play. Play with your children, play with your pets. Walk daily for exercise as well as to enjoy the natural beauty all around. Talk with friends and family as often as needed.
Work on you being the best you possible. It can only add to the joy, light and love in the world when you, yourself are full of Joy, Love and Light.
Thanks for sharing your light. Be Blessed
