Set Your Sets Higher!
When I see the angel card Set Your Sets Higher, it is a gentle (and not to subtle) reminder that in at least ONE aspect of my life, I am settling for Some Thing. What are you settling for? Is it a relationship that does not fulfill your spirit, a job that does not inspire you, or a project that has fallen flat? Whatever you have settled for, STOP It, Drop It and Let it Go!
The longer you invest in something that does not serve you, the more difficult it will be for that “thing” to be released. We humans have a way of rationalizing failures, so we can keep on keeping on, down a long and wrong path.
Today, the angels are asking you to be honest with yourself. What do you REALLY WANT? What are you deepest desires? Is your current situation fulfilling that wish or getting you any closer to your goals?
Take the time to visualize and dreams about your heart’s true desires. Do not fear being disappointed. How can you be disappointed when you deserve the best of what God’s gracious world has to offer? You deserve a great life. God and your angels want to help you achieve that life. While this does not mean you will hit Powerball (money only solves some problems), it does offer a way to enrich your spirit. Live within gratitude. When you are grateful for what you have, while holding a space for what can be, the peace within is worth more than all the riches in the world.
Does the thought of having and being more frighten you? Just Stop IT! The path to spiritual evolution goes UP. It is not a flat road, more like a gentle slope or if you insist, a steep incline. When you are truly not paying attention, it will be a mountain for you to climb. You get to choose how you will reach your higher ground. So, sit, breath, visualize, then get to work!
Thank you for reading this week’s angel card. As a bonus, I included one of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs. Listen to the lyrics. They fit perfectly with this week’s card. It was in my mind right after I started typing! I love pulling angel cards and getting a musical High Five! Have an amazing week!
