Hate is a cancer
Deep and dark
That closes minds
And blackens hearts
For those who fail to see the Light
Yours will be a long and lonely plight
When you share your open hate for me
It’s only your own reflection you see
“Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.” —Dalai Lama
My anger and angst against our current “system” has nothing to do with God and everything to do with the hijacked philosophy that if you are “Christian” you have the RIGHT to Hate and Judge others. If that is true – than how does that make a Christian different from the Taliban? What, exactly IS the difference when both are based on hatred of another because they are classified as OTHER?
I don’t understand people who can judge someone based on the color of their skin, if they have a job or what KIND of job they have, if they finished school or if they worship the “correct” God. I cannot comprehend the inhumanity one must feel, within oneself to believe it is OKAY to judge anyone as less than themselves. What gives you the RIGHT?
Seems as if all the masters, teachers, philosophers and maryters have attempted to teach us is WE are ALL in this Together. If you think that is not the issue, perhaps you should use your brain for more than a hat rack. Imagine This: Spaceships land across the planet – and immediately begin speaking to the different “heads of states” AT that time my friend, exactly WHAT will YOU BE? Are you be black or white, are you be American or Italian? Are you Christian or Muslim? Are you be Gay or Straight?
If you are really and truly honest with yourself, the only REAL answer will be YOU ARE HUMAN. That is what you are and what EVERYONE ELSE is as well. Just a little sumthin’ sumthin’ to ponder.
