If you read my “about me” page, I describe myself as a warrior. That being said, I am sharing some info today that really touched my heart. I came back to the USA when I was 11- 1968. Hippies, Free Love, Protests over the war, civil rights, etc.
The Occupy Wall Street protests brought 1968 back to mind-and I am glad to know in my heart that all those hippies who I “thought” had sold out had just forgotten. Forgotten the energy of being with like minded people, of Speaking OUT LOUD about what You know in your Heart is wrong. I thought those folks were stuck in a comfort zone and nothing short of total and complete catastrophe would budge them. I was wrong. And I am so glad I am!
I am sharing just a bit of a wonderful piece written by playwright and author Eve Ensler. She shared her feelings on Occupy Wall Street in a newsletter I receive – Reader Supported News. Unfiltered NEWS that is supported entirely by it’s readers. Take a look. And, if so inspired read the entire piece. Sign up to receive Reader Supported News or check their site out periodically. LOADS of stuff you will never see on TV!

“There are certain hand signals that are used in the group to signify response. My favorite is the signal for agreement, or something you like a lot.
People lift their hands and wiggle their fingers. This has come to be called Upsparkles.”
What is so funny about this is- there IS energy that flows from your hands and can be seen with Kirlian photography. So, without even knowing this- they have tapped into a way to share their light with all- and receive light in return.
Kinda amazing, Huh? Found this on Google Images. Thanks to YourOwnIsland.com
