The political climate is so hateful these days, cannot wait for November 7th. I will then know if I have a country I feel safe living in. That said, this message (for me) shows the difference, not in the political parties themselves, but in the PEOPLE who are part of those parties.
I am quite liberal in my belief that what you do is none of my business. As long as it does not involve hurting anyone, or anything (think the heathens that kill, maim and torture animals), have at it. Not for me to judge who you sleep with, marry, or worship.
So, this message is how I FEEL about living in a world with other people. WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EACH OTHER! That is called LOVE. Sooner or later, this planet will evolve to a love based society. Let’s hope for SOONER! This song made me cry when I was younger and had yet to realize what real love is. THIS is real love!
Bridge Over Troubled Waters
Thanks for reading! There is more!
The road is long with the many winding turns that leads us to who knows where?
But I’m strong. Strong enough to carry him. He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.
So on we go. His welfare is my concern. No burden is his to bear. We’ll get there.
For I know he would not encumber me. He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother
If I’m laden at all, I’m laden with the sadness that everyone’s heart isn’t filled with the gladness of love for one another.
It’s a long, long road from which there is no return. While we’re on our way to there, why not share?
And the load doesn’t weigh me down at all. He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.
