Romance Angel Cards
Calling IN Your Soul Mate!
Yet another romance angel card! This card, Calling in Your Soul Mate, asks you to be clear in what you are looking for. Are you looking for a WEDDING or a MARRIAGE? They are NOT the same thing!
Soul mate relationships exist within every relationship sphere. We have business soul mates, family soul mates and romantic soul mates. Since the Romance angels (or cherubs) main focus is ROMANCE, you are being asked to focus your desires on what you desire in a romantic mate. In this instance we are not speaking about physical traits. Let me repeat that in case it went over your butterfly filled head. You are not focusing on what your mate will look like. You are focusing on how your mate treats you and others. Does your mate have a deep understanding of what being a mate is about? Does your mate understand the character traits of humility, charity, empathy, gratitude or compassion? Is this person your friend? Will they have your back? Do they have both an open mind and open heart? Are they willing to love and BE loved? While this is my list, I would hope yours goes much deeper than looks. Looks fade, friendship gets deeper. Relationships are only as strong as the foundation upon which they built.
Seek that which you have to offer. Be willing to open your heart and mind to the possibilities that exist in every new and current relationship. One of the cards I pulled recently advised releasing all “things” that no longer serve you. Things include dysfunctional and non workable relationships as well. When you have done your best, there is no shame in saving your self, your spirit and your soul. Save YOURSELF, because if you don’t, who will?
Spend time focused on being the best you possible. You can only attract from where you are – no matter how prettily wrapped the package is. If there is something lacking in you, it will be lacking in your mate. You cannot give that which you don’t have. You cannot share that which you don’t possess. Relationships require Work. Fun and games are for children.
Finally, seek a person who will bring out the best in you, and you in them. There are those who bring out our worst and yes, this could be a soul mate relationship as well. When the worst is presented, it gives you the opportunity to SEE the dysfunction and then act accordingly by fixing it or releasing the relationship as a lesson learned. This angel card asks us to seek relationships that make us better. Your true mate will want to be a better person as well. When both of you only want to give and share the best in yourselves, that is a soul mate relationship to aspire to.
I write a relationship column for BlackRefer.com What is funny about drawing this card is I just wrote a 2 part article for January and February on this very topic. If you remember, check it out next month. If I REMEMBER, I will add them to google+ and my site.
Thank you for reading the angel card of the week. Be blessed and Be open to amazement!
