Hurricane Irene-Blessings and Challenges!

  • Posted on August 31, 2011 at 12:18 PM

Hello,

Made it through the weekend. The challenge was no electricity (only 2 days, we were very fortunate), the blessings were many.
So here is a list:
Tree fell on my roof. No idea WHAT the damage would be until the tree was cut and removed
The FIOS cable is what caught the tree, keeping if from crushing my fence, roof and into my bedroom (where I was in bed praying @ 3am)
My cousin let us hang at her house, she never lost power and told us we were welcome as long as it took to get our lights back on.
Our pets spent the night in the house with 2 light candles- yes I know the dangers, but I did “ask” before we did it- my answer was it would be ok.
My neighbor still had lights, and she let me keep my frozen food in her freezer, which just happened to be empty.

The rain started around 2pm. Picked up around 5pm. Steady, hard rain. The wind did not pick up till after midnight. By the time 3am rolled around, it was really blowing. Knowing how huge the trees are in my part of time, I not only prayed to God, but also my angels. Then I called in ArchAngel Michael for backup. Not one MINUTE later, the tree fell.

When we could finally see outside, the branches from the tree were about a foot from my bedroom window. The canopy of the tree covered my roof from the kitchen to my daughters room.

I spoke to my daughter who had called to see if we were ok. She told me she was awakened by the wind blowing and looked outside to see things blowing around. Remembering the trees around the house, she started to pray for our safety around 2:30am-even before I started.

We were not “allowed” on the street until early Sunday afternoon, after we were warned our fence (metal) and anything else in the area that was metal may be “electrified.”

So, when we packed up and left, we were very careful not to touch anything!

When I got home Monday, the tree crew was already here. When the debris was removed from the roof, there was no damage- a couple of shingles got messed up. That was ALL!

Glad to be back. Hope you all fared well in the last most eventful week!

Stay blessed and stay in the light! Now more than ever, it is important to keep your wits about you. More is on the horizon. Please get yourself together so you can help others.

New Moon Check For Abundance

  • Posted on August 29, 2011 at 1:00 AM

Hello,

Yes, yet another month gone, another month approaching. Where is the time flowing, going, speeding along faster and faster. I am not working and the summer has speed past. So, be aware- pay attention.  NOW is the time!

Thanks for reading!

Michelle

The New moon is, August 29, 2011.  Writing a check on the new moon is a tip I received at least a decade ago. I do not know who it came from (but still appreciate), and have used it on a monthly basis ever since.

The purpose of this exercise is (my intuition) to increase your prosperity awareness. Not to say money will be flying in your windows or growing on that proverbial money tree. Just assists in opening your consciousness to receive abundance, and more of it.

Blank check- leave check in checkbook
Do NOT fill out the date (but you can register the check to keep track)
Pay to the order of: Your Name
$ Pay/Paid in Full (I always use PAID)
On the next line write again PAY/PAID in full! ( I add the exclamation point as PAID in Full always excites me)!
on Memo Line: Give thanks
Signed: The Universal Law of Abundance!

Do every month on the NEW moon. I usually write mine before I go to bed. Another tip I received in the last 8 months was to put your open checkbook (with this new moon check) in the window the night of the new moon. It will encourage in-come from UN-expected sources (which is what we ALL really want)!
Remove the checkbook from the window and place check in a sacred place.

As an addendum, receiving in-come from unexpected sources has been my norm and I am loving it!

P.S. Please place the check in a place you hold sacred. I place mine in my Bible.

You Decide Your Priorities!

  • Posted on August 28, 2011 at 1:15 AM

Hello,

“You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage – pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically – to say no to other things. And the way to do that is by having a bigger yes burning inside.”
~ Stephen Covey (thanks Fran)!

The quote above and the song below reflect the same ideals- just described in different ways.  Never consider that YOUR priorities are not important.  While I do feel (because I have dealt with the results of ruthless people pushing a so called “spiritual agenda”) what is important to you is important.;  this does not give you license to run over other people but certainly frees you to say NO!  No, I don’t have time to do…..  No, I will not be able to attend….  Be strong, stand up for yourself.

Finding YOU is a journey.  This journey should start from the past, work its way up to your NOW and reflect all you truly desire in YOUR future.  If you are not looking out for you- who else will and who else SHOULD?

Be of strong courage- Say yes to yourself with love, and in joy.

I Still cry when I hear this song. Something about the raw honesty of wanting a “true” family and family HOME.  Please know that while we all have not had the best of childhoods, forgive what you can-let go of what no longer serves you and find your real family.  All of us belong to a “spiritual” family. This is the “family member” that you click with immediately, the one person you have stayed in touch with long after you or they left a job.  Those chance meetings that bring both friendship, solidarity and joy to both of your lives.  It is here for you. That I can assure you of!

Be blessed and thanks for reading!

Hurricane Irene Is A Coming!

  • Posted on August 26, 2011 at 8:47 PM

Hello,

1st to be serious, my prayers for ALL of us on the East Coast. This has been a most amazing week.  A real earthquake (5.8) and a hurricane I was paying very little attention to is now bearing down on the East Coast.

REALLY! Yesterday after going through some personal drama, I actually asked my angel were we being punked!  Really? Are you sure, cause it sure feels that way to me!

Just wanted to add my prayers to the millions who are praying and will be praying for the next couple of days.

Please add your prayers!

Thanks much!

Michelle

Grace!

  • Posted on August 26, 2011 at 12:15 PM

Hello,

Grace is a blessing- freely bestowed upon us. I needed this RE-Minder today  myself. Mis-communications with our phone company had me without a phone for about an hour. While I railed, ranted and (attempted) to berate my angels, my niece calmly called our cell phone provider, explained our need for our cell phones and they turned the phones back on- with NO payment. WHAT? When Ashley called me, I looked at the phone thinking- how is she calling? So, she told me what she had accomplished.

So, then I tried my hand at getting the reconnection fees waived. After all, their csr had wrecked my checking account this month by taking what should have been a payment arrangement for the 1st week of August and debiting from my account the full balance the end of July. After reviewing my account- the rep agreed to waive the fees as a “courtesy” So, I am grateful for that.

While we still have a bill, we now have the time to pay it without ruining our finances. All in all, today has been a wonderful and productive adventure!

Grace
The grace of God is upon me.

The grace of God enables me to meet every challenge and condition comfortably and with ease. I am no longer apprehensive, because the grace of God fills me with assurance that all is well. I rely on divine strength, wisdom and guidance–even beyond what I ask or seek–to see me through any difficulty. It is God’s grace that supplies my every need.

The grace of God is upon me. I am free from worry, discord or discontent. I am free to be loving, kind and happy. I am free to enjoy life fully. Through the grace of God, I am gracious as I find my way through life’s ups and downs. The grace of God is upon me, now and forever.

Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.–Hebrews 4:16
